1. Cooperation in building an electronic ticket payment system for buses in the area towards SmartCity
In order to improve service quality and modernize cashless payments on bus routes, the Binh Duong Provincial Transport Association has cooperated with MID Vietnam to build an electronic ticket payment system for buses in the area.
Instead of using traditional paper tickets, passengers traveling by bus will be equipped with smart electronic tickets with electronic chips, paying directly via buspay. Using electronic payment tickets is faster and more convenient, without having to go through the intermediary step of buying tickets in cash with employees as before.
This, on the one hand, helps reduce operating costs and increase revenue. It is estimated that each bus transport enterprise will be able to reduce personnel costs by up to 60 million/vehicle/year; Reduce the cost of printing tickets by at least 50% of the annual cost of printed tickets and reduce ticket loss, helping to increase revenue by 20% or more. On the other hand, it helps managers to monitor and inspect more easily, without worrying about loss.
2. Cooperate in building and applying technology to the management and operation of means of transport in Binh Duong province.
